  1. Is it a flashlight?
    In addition to being a mobile wireless audio-video recording system, the CamLite™ Model 1000 is also a functional 13,500 candlepower flashlight.
     
  2. What is the range of the CamLite™ Model 1000?
    Up to 1,000 feet.  Transmission distance is affected by a variety of factors, including interference and obstacles. Distances described are for line of sight.
     
  3. Does the CamLite™ Model 1000 have audio recording capabilities?
    Yes, audio recording can be controlled by a separate on/off button.
     
  4. How long does it transmit?
    The CamLite™ Model 1000 is battery powered.  Actual transmitting time is approximately 4 hours without the use of the flashlight, or 2 hours with the use of the flashlight.
     
  5. What does the CamLite™ System record to?
    The CamLite™ Video System can record to any device that can accept a standard composite video signal, including a laptop computer hard drive, VCR or DVR recorders.
     
  6. How does the CamLite™ System work with existing in-car video systems?
    The CamLite™ System is compatible with existing in-car stationary systems.  See instructions for instructions to integrate with popular in-car systems.
     
  7. Is there a finance package available?
    Yes, CamLite Corporation can either arrange a custom finance/lease purchase program or our own finance plan.  Contact David Nielsen at 602-494-6311 to discuss your specific financing needs.
     
  8. Does the CamLite™ System transmission weaken inside a building?
    Wireless transmissions are adversely affected by the amount of interference experienced.  It will depend on the construction of the building and other sources of interference.
     
  9. What frequency does the CamLite™ System utilize?
    We currently offer a 2.4 gigahertz frequency model and have the capability to use other frequencies authorized for Federal Government Agency use.  Contact David LaBau at 602-494-6311 with your specific frequency needs.
     
  10. Are there any licensing requirements?
    The CamLite™ Model 1000 2.4 gigahertz model is FCC Part 90 approved and is available only to licensed users.  See Part 90 Licensing Instructions for instructions on obtaining the license.  The license fee is $50 and can cover as many units as you purchase.  Licenses are only obtainable by law enforcement agencies and commercial enterprises.  The CamLite™ Model 1000 cannot be licensed for personal use.
     
  11. What is the delivery time for a CamLite™ System?
    From the time we accept your purchase order, delivery is within 60 days.
     
  12. Is there a warranty?
    Yes, CamLite provides a one-year limited warrantyClick here for a copy of the warranty.
     
  13. What does the CamLite™ Model 1000 weigh?
    1.2 lbs.
